Cleaning Up Our Communities
Today, the Democratic House passed the H.R. 535, the PFAS Action Act of 2019, to protect communities from PFAS "forever chemicals," which are a serious public health threat in America.

Provocative and Disproportionate Actions Against Iran
American leaders' highest priority is to protect American lives and interests. But we cannot put the lives of American servicemembers, diplomats and others further at risk by engaging in provocative and disproportionate actions. Last night's airstrike risks provoking further dangerous escalation of violence. America – and the world – cannot afford to have tensions escalate to the point of no return.

Over 400 Bills And Counting
Our Democratic Majority in the House of Representatives has been hard at work this past year to deliver on our For The People agenda: lowering health care costs by reducing the price of prescription drugs, increasing paychecks by building the green and resilient infrastructure of the future, and cleaning up corruption in government.

Articles of Impeachment
Today, the House Judiciary Committee voted to approve two articles of impeachment to hold President Trump accountable: abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. No one is above the law, not even the President of the United States.

Fighting the Climate Crisis
Last weekend, I led a bicameral Congressional Delegation to Madrid to participate in the COP25 UN Climate Change Conference. Our delegation sent a clear message to the world, on behalf of the House and the American people: that we are still in this fight!
