Washington, D.C.Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the Republican-controlled House Oversight and Government Reform Committee's planned markup today of a resolution of disapproval to overturn the D.C. Reproductive Health Non-Discrimination Amendment Act. Tuesday was Equal Pay Day, which symbolizes when, more than three months into the year, women’s wages finally catch up to what men were paid in the previous year.
