Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the House passed H.R. 3962 by a vote of 415 to 1. This legislation retroactively reverses the 21 percent cut in Medicare payments to doctors, scheduled for June 1, and boosts physician payments, effective June 1, by 2.2 percent through November 30. The Senate passed the bill last week and it now goes to President Obama for his signature into law:
