“We have just witnessed a dramatic reversal on the part of House Republicans, who have now joined President Obama and House Democrats in our efforts to prevent an increase in the student loan interest rate.

“Just last week, House Republicans overwhelmingly voted again for the Ryan budget, which doubles the interest rate on student loans.
