San Francisco – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the attacks on the Israeli Embassy in Cairo, Egypt:

"The attacks on the Israeli Embassy in Cairo raise grave security concerns and are clearly unacceptable. I join other Members of Congress in condemning the attacks in the strongest terms.

"Egyptian officials must ensure the safety of the Israeli Embassy and staff and guarantee security in the future, while honoring their international obligations to all embassies.
