Coming Home to the Bay Area
On Wednesday, I joined Rep. Barbara Lee, Rep. John Lewis, the Librarian of Congress Dr. Carla Hayden, Cleve Jones, and HIV/AIDS community leaders in the Library of Congress to announce the return of the AIDS Memorial Quilt from Atlanta, Georgia back to the Bay Area, where its first stitches were sewn.
