San Francisco - Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement today on the Muni train accident that occurred on Saturday:

â€Å"I want to extend my deepest sympathies to the victims injured by the Muni train collision at West Portal Station this past weekend.

â€Å"I commend the swift efforts of MUNI Director Nathaniel Ford to cooperate with the National Transportation Safety Board's investigation. We must move swiftly to take appropriate action to prevent future accidents.”
