Tours and Tickets
In consultation with the Capitol Attending Physician, the House and Senate Sergeants at Arms have ordered the United States Capitol Building closed to public tours starting today, March 12th, at 5:00 p.m. eastern through the duration of March in order to protect health and safety, in light of COVID-19. The Capitol’s health and security officials will continue to evaluate if an extended tour prohibition will be required. Additionally, the White House, Supreme Court, Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the Library of Congress have announced a temporary suspension of all public tours and will continue to update timing as more information is available. We apologize for the inconvenience and are sorry you will not be able to join us for a tour of the People’s House during this time.
