United States Postal Service

Thank you for contacting my office regarding your request for assistance from the United States Postal Service.

The Postal Service is a pillar of American Democracy that was enshrined into the Constitution by our Founders, tying our communities together and serving Americans in every corner of the country.

If you are missing mail, you may follow these steps to track and retrieve those items. If you are still unable to find your mail, you may request a refund for fees, postage and other extra services. If a package was lost, damaged or had broken or missing pieces and it was covered by insurance, you may file an indemnity claim. If you are moving, you can file a change of address form online. Alternatively, for any of the above areas, you can apply in-person at your local USPS office.

If you are experiencing persistent problems with mail delivery, my office may be able to help. Below, you will find a link to a Privacy Release Form, which will allow my staff to share your request with USPS. Please complete the linked form to proceed with your casework inquiry, uploading additional documentation to support your claims where applicable.

If you have any further questions or this is a time-sensitive manner, please do not hesitate to contact my office at 415-556-4862.
