Washington, D.C. â€" House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today a grant of $5.35 million to San Francisco Muni to develop and demonstrate a 40-foot hybrid fuel cell bus.
The Department of Transportation grant was awarded to California-based WestStart-CALSTART, who will partner in the project with the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, among others.
