Washington, D.C. - Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement in response to more than $15 million granted to the San Francisco International Airport under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act:
“The Department of Homeland Security's announcement today that it would allocate more than $15 million to San Francisco International Airport is welcome news for the Bay Area, and will specifically go to improving the inspection of checked bags.
