Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi issued the following statement today after the President’s Council of Economic Advisers released its quarterly report on the impact of the Recovery Act, finding that the legislation has saved or created as many as 3.6 million jobs so far, and that more than 10 percent of the Recovery Act funds have leveraged significant private investment – with each dollar leveraging three dollars in private investment:

San Francisco – Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered keynote remarks at the Mission Neighborhood Centers (MNC) at Capp Street in San Francisco. MNC received funding in the Recovery Act for its Head Start program, enabling them to continue serving children from low income families.
