On Thanksgiving, we come together to offer our gratitude for the blessings in our lives, for our families, friends, and loved ones, for the strength of our community, our city, and our country.

I was honored to give remarks at the 15th Annual Interfaith Thanksgiving Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday. While we may be divided by lines of religion and the walls of our houses of worship; we are united by the pursuit of justice and a devotion to peace, by our willingness to lift up the needy and help the less fortunate.

The targeting of innocent Israelis must end, and all efforts must be made to avoid the further loss of life.
