House Republicans are threatening to shut down the government after Elon Musk, their biggest donor, threw a temper tantrum online and Donald Trump ordered them to kill a bipartisan funding bill.

A Republican government shutdown would hurt working families, damage our economy, interrupt vital services, endanger our national security, and force millions of our troops and government employees to work without pay.

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi is traveling with a bipartisan Congressional Delegation to Belgium and Luxembourg to commemorate the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. On Friday, December 13 and Saturday, December 14, the delegation will take part in observances of the anniversary along with veterans and their families, active duty servicemembers, government and military officials and foreign dignitaries. 

San Francisco  – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi announced that San Francisco is set to receive nearly $20 million in federal grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  This federal funding under Democrats' Inflation Reduction Act will benefit disadvantaged communities living on Treasure Island by expanding clean public transportation resources serving the area.

San Francisco  – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi announced that San Francisco is set to receive $55 million in federal grants from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.  This federal funding will help San Francisco Bay Ferry transition to zero-emission operations and enhance air quality in the Bay Area.
