Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the House voted to pass the Republicans’ Continuing Resolution (CR), which would fund federal government operations through the end of this fiscal year. The measure was approved by a vote of 235 to 189. All Members of the Democratic Caucus present voted against the legislation.

The legislation will be sponsored by Leader Pelosi, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, Assistant Democratic Leader James E. Clyburn, Ranking Member Norm Dicks of the Appropriations Committee and Ranking Member Chris Van Hollen of the Budget Committee.
