Washington, D.C. – Today, Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi appointed SCAN Foundation President Dr. Bruce Chernof, the Center for Medicare Advocacy’s Executive Director Judith Stein, and activist and philanthropist George Vrandenburg to the bipartisan Commission on Long-Term Care. Created earlier this year as part of the American Tax Relief Act, this commission is responsible for developing a plan to establish, implement, and finance a comprehensive set of long-term care services for seniors and people with disabilities.
