Pelosi to Lead Official Delegation to Africa

Washington, D.C. â€" House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi announced today that she is leading a Congressional delegation to Africa, leaving tonight and returning on Feb. 24. Pelosi will lead 10 other Members to Sudan, Cape Verde, Ghana, Liberia, and South Africa.
â€Å"Our delegation will assess the situation on the ground in Darfur, and discuss security, economic, health, and hunger issues with regional leaders across the continent,†Pelosi said.
