Pelosi Statement on UAW Historic Contracts

San Francisco – Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi issued this statement after the announcement of labor agreements between the UAW and the Big Three:

“Congratulations to the United Auto Workers on their momentous success in achieving fair contracts with the Big Three.  Record profits should mean record contracts.  The tentative agreements reached with Ford, Stellantis and GM have secured the better pay, safer working conditions, and stronger benefits and pensions that America's autoworkers deserve.

“These agreements are a triumph for UAW – illustrating a blueprint for workers across the country to share in the success of their companies.”
