"In the streets of San Francisco and across the country, celebrations of the Lunar New Year display the vibrancy and strength of our Asian American and Pacific Islander community, reminding us that, as ever, the beauty is in the mix. As AAPI communities welcome the Year of the Dog – celebrated for honesty and loyalty – let us all embrace these characteristics as we strive to meet the challenges facing our nation.
