Pelosi Statement on VA Reform Compromise

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement after House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chairman Jeff Miller and Senate Veterans Affairs Committee Chairman Bernie Sanders announced an agreement on legislation improving accountability and increasing access to care at the Department of Veterans Affairs:

"No veteran should be forced to wait for the health care or benefits they have earned. With the leadership of Chairman Jeff Miller and Ranking Member Mike Michaud, we have reached a bipartisan agreement that will help us serve our veterans as well as they have served us. Speaker Boehner should bring this bill to the floor without any further delay."
