Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader released the following statement on the shooting at Umpqua Community College in Oregon:

"Today's shooting is another searing tragedy for our nation. Our hearts ache for the families of those killed and wounded on campus, and we share in the shock and grief of this community.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the whole Umpqua Community College family as they grapple with this senseless attack. We offer our sincerest condolences to the victims and survivors of this terrible day."
