Pelosi Statement on Senate GOP Blocking the Rebuild America Jobs Act

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after Senate Republicans blocked the Rebuild America Jobs Act:

“Overwhelming majorities of Americans agree we must act now to rebuild our roads, bridges, airports, and transit systems, creating jobs and strengthening our economy. Every Senate Republican said no.

“Americans can’t wait any longer for Republicans to join Democrats to create jobs and grow our economy. We must pass the American Jobs Act without further delay, help small businesses grow and hire, and put people back to work.”
