Pelosi Statement on Health Reform Rule on Preventive Services for Women

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on the rule announcement on preventive services for women announced by President Obama, which will continue to make available such services with no co-pay as provided for under the historic Affordable Care Act, including recommended contraceptive services:

“I thank President Obama for his thoughtful leadership and his ongoing commitment to women’s health.

“I appreciate the President’s unifying approach as we work to ensure that the American people continue to receive the benefits of health care reform.”
