Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today on new preventive services for women available this summer with no co-pay as provided for under the historic Affordable Care Act, including recommended contraceptive services:

“I strongly support this action by the Obama Administration to expand access to fundamental, basic health care and will continue to fight to protect the benefits of health care reform for the American people.”
