Pelosi Statement on GOP ‘Replace’ Legislation

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the House vote on the Republicans’ so-called “replace” legislation:

“Democrats are focused on creating jobs, strengthening the middle class, and reducing the deficit. The Republicans’ repeal of patients’ rights fails on all three counts while putting insurance companies back in charge.

“Today’s bill is more of the same: it doesn’t create jobs and offers no solutions. We must stay focused on Americans’ top priorities: jobs and our economy.”
