San Francisco – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the deadly terror attack in Barcelona, Spain:

"All Americans are horrified and saddened by the news of the vicious terror attack in Barcelona. We share in the sorrow at the scenes of suffering in this beautiful city. We are praying for the recovery of the wounded, for the loved ones of those slain, and for the swift apprehension of those responsible.

"Terrorists will not break our strength or our spirit. While we wait for further news, may the people of Barcelona know that the United States stands in solidarity with them in at this dark hour. The U.S. will continue to fight shoulder to shoulder with Spain against the vile scourge of terror."
