Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement on the attacks in Oslo and Utoeya island in Norway:

"The prayers of the world are with the people of Norway after this tragedy. The enormity of this heinous act, perpetrated in large part against young people, has horrified people of every nation.

"Norway has stood with the United States in times of trial; the United States stands with Norway today."
