Pelosi: House Must Pass Senate Tax Cut Bill to Provide Certainty for Middle Class

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today calling for House passage of the Senate middle class tax cut bill:

“Democrats and Republicans all agree that the middle income tax cut is critical for our economy. Now that the Senate has passed a middle class tax cut, we should all agree to pass this bill.

“If just one of every ten House Republicans joined us, the Senate-passed bill would become law by the end of the week and millions of Americans would have a tax cut instead months of economic uncertainty.”
