Giving Thanks
This Thursday, families in San Francisco and across the country will sit down together and give thanks. As we show our gratitude for the comfort of our loved ones and the many blessings of American liberty, let us remember those who are struggling to put food on the table for their families during these difficult economic times.

I am hopeful that the House will pass legislation to address the plight of those who will be losing unemployment insurance benefits in the coming weeks and take up the reauthorization of the Child Nutrition Act to reduce childhood hunger and improve school food quality.
