Pelosi Wins Federal Funding ForSan Francisco Bay Area Water Projects
Today the House of Representatives passed H.R. 2311, the Energy and Water Development Appropriations Conference Report. At the request of Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-SF), a senior Democrat on the Appropriations Committee, the bill included funding for local water projects for the San Francisco Bay Area. The funding was part of a $24.7 billion spending bill for energy and water projects.
“The funding approved today by the House of Representatives will benefit the environment, safety, and commerce of the Bay Area,” Pelosi said. The following San Francisco-based projects were requested by Rep. Pelosi and funded by the House Appropriations Committee:
