Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi Congratulates the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development on their Inaugural Convention.

Congresswoman Pelosi today joined members of the National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development (NCAPACD) at their Inaugural Convention in Washington, D.C. This Coalition was formed to create a national presence for Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders on a broad range of community and economic development issues. National CAPACD was founded by 17 community-based organizations from across the country, including San Francisco organizations: Asian Neighbrohood Design (AND); Chinatown Community Development Corporation; and Indochinese Housing Development Corporation.

"The National Coalition for Asian Pacific American Community Development represents a new, unified voice for Asian-Americans and Pacific Islanders throughout our nation. I'm proud and honored to be part of their inaugural convention in Washington, D.C. today."
