"Our delegation is bipartisan and while it has a wealth of seniority in terms of committee assignments, it also benefits from a Member of the Freshman Class," said Leader Pelosi. "Our delegation will discuss ways we can strengthen security cooperation; advance human rights with an emphasis on women, workers and religious minorities; and increase fair trade," Leader Pelosi said. "Members are particularly interested in gaining further understanding of how the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade agreement that is currently being negotiated will impact the region's markets and economies. I am proud to be joined by this outstanding group of colleagues, and look forward to an informative and productive trip."
